Crowns

Crowns are essentially what you might guess--covers for your teeth. A crown may be necessary to cover a damaged or misshapen tooth so it is restored to its normal shape and size. A crown may be necessary to cover and support a tooth with a large filling when there isn't enough natural tooth left. A crown may be necessary to attach a bridge. A crown may be necessary to protect a weak tooth from breaking or further damage. A crown may be necessary to restore a tooth that is already broken. A crown may be necessary to cover a dental implant. Regardless of why your dentist recommends a crown, you can be sure that a crown will restore oral function and restore your smile to its former glory.

Veneers

A veneer is a thin, custom-made, tooth-colored shell which is designed to cover the front side of teeth. Veneers correct a variety of tooth imperfections. Veneers can treat spaces between teeth and teeth that are chipped or worn, permanently stained, poorly shaped or slightly crooked. They are attached by removing a small amount of enamel from the tooth and permanently bonding the veneer to the tooth.
